The project explores the future of curated cultural consumption, focusing on Generation Z. It aims to design “phygital” immersive experiences by combining digital platforms, wearable devices, and audiovisual productions.
VIBE is an exhibition focused on creating immersive cultural experiences for Generation Z, addressing the future of curated cultural consumption and experience. By combining digital technologies, wearable devices, and audiovisual productions, the project explores new ways of cultural engagement, creating “phygital” experiences that merge the physical and digital. The main goal is to design next-generation museum content and experiences that involve digital technologies, a sort of “sensory Netflix of curated culture,” which involves the execution of a pilot experience in the form of an exhibition.
The pilot exhibition Active Activism Act (AAA), presented physically in Barcelona and globally online, marked the starting point for this innovative fusion of culture and technology.
Through the use of narrative and immersive techniques, VIBE addresses themes of social and cultural activism, aiming to raise awareness and connect the audience to relevant issues. The offered experiences are designed to stimulate deep reflections, making users active participants in an ongoing cultural dialogue, rather than passive observers.
