UOMO VIRTUALE. Corpo, Mente, Cyborg

Università di Torino

A science communication exhibition that explores the human body, the mind, and the relationship between humans and machines. Through immersive visual design, the exhibition makes complex concepts related to science and technology accessible.

“VIRTUAL MAN. Body, Mind, Cyborg” is a science communication exhibition that addresses three fundamental themes: the body, the mind, and the cyborg, exploring how science and technology have transformed our understanding and interaction with the human body.
The exhibition showcases scientific tools used to study and heal the human body, deepens the understanding of the brain and mind, and analyzes the ability to integrate and enhance our bodies or to create intelligent machines.
Environmental design and visual communication were key elements in creating an immersive and stimulating experience. Through the use of environmental graphics and innovative exhibition solutions, the show invites visitors to reflect on the role of science in our daily lives and on the ethical and social implications of new technologies.

This project stands as a significant example of how design can be used as a tool to bridge science and the public, contributing to greater awareness and understanding of the challenges and opportunities brought by technological innovation.
